Hi all, When installing the foss 2015b or 2016a toolchains I run into similar errors. At some point the installation fails with: get_software_root software root for binutils was not found in environment
For 2015b this occurs when installing flex 2.5 39, for 2016a this occurs when installing M4 1.4.17. It seems that installation of binutils has not been done yet or failed for some reason? Does anyone recognize this and know a solution around this to install foss-2016a? By the way: is my assumption correct that in the foss versions labelled with a and b the version for GCC will keep at 4.x compared to the foss versions with -04 which have gone to GCC 5.x?
