Hello,

I’m just getting started with EasyBuild and I’m trying to get a handle on best
practices. Historically, our site has always used AFS for software installation
and distribution. We would like to continue to do so. Each piece of software
resides in its own volume and then mounted appropriately. In order to continue
this practice these volumes and mount points would need to be created prior to
installing the software. I imagine there is some way to get this information
from a dry run. Are there other issues with AFS and EasyBuild I would need to
be aware of. I’m wondering if other sites are doing this, or some variation, or
is everyone just using NFS even if they are have AFS cell.

Thanks
