Dear EasyBuilders, A while ago we got some requests for an EasyBuild Slack channel.
We were a bit hesitant at first, since we wanted to avoid further splintering across more available communications channels (mailing list, IRC, conf calls, etc.), but ended up integrating Slack with IRC through a bot that relays messages between both channels.
This has been working out really well since we have set up it weeks ago, so I'm confident enough to announce the EasyBuild Slack channel (https://easybuild.slack.com/).
To join the EasyBuild Slack channel and engage with the EasyBuild community that way you need an invitation (that's just how Slack works...).
If you are interested, please drop me an email by replying to this message (please make sure to do so off-list), or ask someone already connected to the EasyBuild Slack channel to invite you.
