Dear Miguel, If you already had the configuration setting EASYBUILD_FIXED_INSTALLDIR_NAMING_SCHEME in place then switching MNS is straightforward, you will just need to regenerate the module files according to the new scheme (and take note that this doesn't always work perfectly, it relies on the relevant easyblock supporting it properly). If you currently use the default naming then you are also in luck since this what that setting will use for the software installations.
Unfortunatey, if you have used any other scheme and have not set this variable then you are better off regenerating your software stack, it will be less pain. It will break user local installations, but this should be easily fixed with the same --module-only approach.
