Dear EasyBuilders,

I'm happy to announce the release of EasyBuild version 3.3.1 [1].
You may be surprised, but this release is even better than the last one, making this (once again) the best EasyBuild version ever!

Highlights include:

    * support for --merge-pr (mostly intended for EasyBuild maintainers),
cfr. http://easybuild.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Integration_with_GitHub.html#merging-easyconfig-pull-requests-merge-pr

* getting rid of references to 'hpcugent' after move to github.com/easybuilders * incl. changing the default target account for --new-pr, --update-pr & --upload-test-report to 'easybuilders'

    * enhancements to the easyblocks for ABAQUS, Boost, HDF5 & Anaconda

    * support for 6 new software packages, incl. Miniconda2& OpenCoarrays

* updated easyconfigs for ABAQUS 2017, GCC(core) 6.4.0, Keras 2.0.5, NCBI-Toolkit 18.0.0, numpy 1.13.0, Tensorflow 1.2.0, etc.

    * fixed source URLs for HDF5 & Tensorflow

This brings the total number of supported software packages to 1,262 [2]!
A detailed overview of all changes is available in the release notes [3].

Thanks to everyone who contributed to this release in one way or another!

To upgrade to EasyBuild v3.3.1, there are several options, see [4].
Two particularly easy options include:

* eb --install-latest-eb-release # requires EasyBuild v2.9.0 or more recent

    * eb --from-pr 4877               # use easyconfig from PR #4877 [5]

Enjoy!

regards,

Kenneth (a.k.a. boegel)
