There is a new version of easy_update. This new version fixes bugs. No new features other than working correctly.
Issue: Easy_update was not traversing R and BioCondutor dependences correctly. I am plan to convert to the new pypi.org once the beta period is over. The new PyPi interface should provide more reliable package information. You can download easy_update from https://github.com/FredHutch/easybuild-life-sciences Code is in the scripts directory.
