FWIW: we've just merged the easyconfig(s) for the latest NCL 6.6.2 built
with intel/2018b via
https://github.com/easybuilders/easybuild-easyconfigs/pull/7972/files .
This depends on the latest g2lib 3.1.0, so you shouldn't run into
download issues with this...
