That's a good question...
I think the choice should be Java/1.8 (a.k.a. Java 8) or Java/11 .
I'm not sure how many backwards-incompatible changes were made in
Java/11 compared to Java/1.8, but I would definitely prefer going with
Java/11 unless some real blockers show up.
