Long story short:
* the OpenBLAS easyconfigs included in the latest EasyBuild release
3.9.3 have patches that mitigate the problems (so if you rebuild
OpenBLAS with EasyBuild 3.9.3, you should be good)
* you can check whether things are broken in your current installation
using the scripts in https://github.com/eylenth/Openblas_matrix_issue
