I just worry that it is slightly misleading, if only to myself, to install a binary distribution in a way that makes it look as if it has been compiled. Up to now the fact that a module does not have a toolchain in its name has always been a marker for me to install a source version later, when I find time (although in fact, I never have found time to replace any binary versions ...)
