If you're still interested in getting the GCC installation to work,
please try this:
eb --include-easyblocks-from-pr 2245 GCCcore-10.2.0.eb --robot
That will pull in the fixed GCC easyblock from
https://github.com/easybuilders/easybuild-easyblocks/pull/2245 .
You may hit other problems when running on a 32-bit OS though...

the "i686-pc-linux-gnu" suggests a 32-bit host, which is quite
unusual these days, so running into issues with 32-bit isn't strange.
Does "uname -m" tells you i686 or x86_64?
