Dear Easybuilders,
I stumbled upon a strange behavior of the eb-command. I sometimes use a WSL-terminal to ssh into our cluster where I then use for example the command 'eb -S somename' which then gets stuck with the error above. The IP is the one of the local WSL-terminal, $DISPLAY is set locally to this IP as well and X11-forwarding is enabled, however no X11-server is running locally. When X11 is available the eb-command runs fine. Clearly, something in EasyBuild is try to contact the X11-server but why I have no idea since no graphical interface is used. Is there an explanation for this behavior?
