Hi,

The *-core-* bundle addressed by the InterProScan easyconfig does not contain
the data. The tarball addressed by the InterProScan_data easyconfig contains
just the data.

From what I can tell, the InterProScan_data eb file can just be used but give
the new version, the paths appear to still be valid. Part of what the
InterProScan_data easyconfig does is make the symlink within the InterProScan
installdir to the data installed by the InterProScan_data module, so you don't
need to manage that if you install InterProScan and then InterProScan_data.

Cheers,

Douglas

Hi,

does anyone have experience running Interproscan using eb? Specifically, the
easyconfig shows

# NOTE The data can be added manually afterwards with for example a symlink
called *data*
# in %(installdir)s/
# But simpler to use the InterProScan_data-*.eb file. The regular InterProScan
data package
# does not contain the lookup_service data way too large!

Is there an example? Does someone has a script to share? I did not find a
command line flag to point this tool to an alternate location, is this really
the case?

Any help is appreciated!

Cheers

Christian
