Downloading via EasyBuild still works fine for me, via "eb --fetch
Szip-2.1.1-GCCcore-12.3.0.eb".
The download URL that EasyBuild uses is
https://support.hdfgroup.org/archive/support/ftp/lib-external/szip/2.1.1/src/szip-2.1.1.tar.gz
, which still works.

there does not seem to be any way to connect to the tar files etc?
it is one of the dependencies for netCDF-4.9.2-gompi-2023a
any suggestion?
