What error are you getting? Without more info we can't help you...

I suppose it will work well also with Vista. But be careful if you are
using eBox in production or if you are using the antivirus with samba.
Another option is to search google with your problem, I think there are
a lot of posts about issues with Vista and Samba. Probably even in our
eBox forums you may found some.
