Hi, I've a server with eBox 0.12 such as PDC with a lot of LDAP users and
files shares. I've a client with Windows XP Professional that it hooks to
eBox domain and the users ldap can connect with remote desktop client and
access to their files shares.
I need to migrate all (users,files shares) to another server with eBox 1.4.
This server has a clean eBox installation.
I've created all users with eBox web interface, then I've modified UID with
ldap client (phpldapadmin certainly). Also I've modified the owner of
/home/samba/users and /home/samba/profiles directories to news UID. I've
created the files shares and copy the data.
I've hooked the client with Windows XP to the new domain eBox 1.4 (the
domain name is not the same that the eBox 0.12 nor the netbios name)
Everything is fine except the connections in Windows XP. Some users connect
fine but others no.
Example:
I connect with the user Peter and it's created Peter's directory in
Documents and Settings. But if I connect with John , it uses Peter's
directory in Documents and Settings and it isn't created John's directory
but the login information (Name and Surname) is John's information. The
mounted file shares are right.
I've disabled roaming profiles, and UID's Peter and UID's John are
differents.

Buenas tengo un servidor eBox 0.12 como PDC con varios usuarios y sus
correspondientes ficheros compartidos. Luego una maquina cliente Windows Xp
que está unida al dominio de eBox y que se pueden conectar por escritorio
remoto todos los usuarios de dicho dominio.
Necesito migrar todo esto a otro servidor eBox 1.4 recien instalado.
He ido creando todos los usuarios y modificando los id's con un cliente
ldap, tambien he modificado los propietarios de /home/samba/profiles y
/home/samba/users para que tendan el id de propietario correcto. He creado
los ficheros compartidos y copiado los datos del antiguo. He unido Windows
al dominio del nuevo servidor (el nombre de dominio del nuevo servidor es
distinto al del otro, asi como netbios name)
Por lo que todo me funciona, me puedo conectar con dichos usuarios ldap en
maquinas cliente de linux, montando los ficheros compartidos y todo
correcto. El problema esta en el windows, que algunos usuarios me conectan
bien, es decir, conectan y crean su carpeta en Docs and Settings y montan su
fichero compartido, pero otros usuarios se conectan y cogen la carpeta de
Docs and Settings de otro usuario como si fuera suya. El fichero compartido
si montan el correcto.
Ejemplo:
Me conecto con el usuario Jaime y se conecta correctamente montando el
fichero compartido \\Ebox\jaime , informacion de usuario de Jaime y creando
en Docs and Settings una carpeta llamada Jaime.
Me conecto con el usuario Pedro y se conecta con fichero compartido e
informacion de usuario (nombre, apellidos) de Pedro pero no crea ninguna
carpeta en Docs and Settings y utiliza la de Jaime, con sus respectivos Mis
Documentos, Escritorio ...
Los UID de esos usuarios en ldap son distintos.No tengo habilitado los
perfiles móviles, por lo que entiendo que todo estaría en la maquina Windows
