Hi all,

I am very new to Ebox and installed ebox and sarge with the base cd one can
download from the ebox website.

I have got everything up and running with only one network card. I tried to
use two network cards so that the one network card acts as an external card
(connected directly to the ADSL router) and the other one internal (connected
directly onto the network switch).

Could anyone please help me to configure these two cards so that they can work
together? I cannot seem to get it right. The gateway for the external card is
set to the adsl router's ip and the internal card have a gateway of the
external network card. Logically this makes sense to me but it just does not
seem to work and the network clashes.

Then another thing. Like I said, I now only have one network card (not marked
as external) connected to the network switch. The adsl router is also
connected to the switch but the network users get their settings via DHCP and
everything is working fine. I am trying to set up a mail account on outlook to
collect mail from my ISP but I cannot reach that ISP's server. I have tried
various pop servers as well as IMAP servers but the connection just times out.

I have opened ports 25, 110, 143, 993, etc hoping that this will sort out the
problem but it does not. Have any of you experienced this problem before and
is there a workaround?

When I set the ebox up as a mail server, i can get mail from the ebox server's
IP as incoming mail server. Can I set ebox up to collect mail from the isp on
all the users I add on it?

Please help!

Regards,
Johan
