Subject: Re: [Ebox-user] how to open ports on ebox

Hi,

i have installed vmware on the same pc running ebox, and i would like to
have the web interface of vmware available. it normally runs on 8333 port,
but i have no idea on how to enable this port with ebox. could someone
please explain how to go about enabling this port through ebox?

You can't do that from the webinterface at the moment. But you will be able
to do it in the next release which is due in a few days. If you wish, you
can even try the 0.9.100 beta release which is already capable to do that.

If you want to try the beta release add these sources to
your /etc/apt/sources.list:

deb http://ebox-platform.com/debian/unstable/ ebox/
deb http://ebox-platform.com/debian/unstable/ extra/

Execute the following commands to install the new version:

apt-get update
apt-get install “^ebox-.*”

Hope this helps.
