hi feona,
to see what is the real bug, you must look at the last lines of the
log file. The file is at /var/lib/ebox/log/ebox.log.

Hello,
there is not a mail server's greylist feature in ebox. The mail server
is postfix so you may try some of the greylist implementations that
exists for this program.
I hadn't tried none so I can no give you pointers.

Cheers,
  Javier

Hi,

1. I would like to enable the Web Administration on an external
interface under the services.

2. I would like to be able to clear and reinitialize the squid cache
(delete cache and squid -z) from the HTTP proxy menu, will that be
possible?

Thanx

Willem Pretorius

P.S. v0.10 rocks :)

Hello Panagiotis,
beginning with the last request, I suggest more training using
mailboxes with viagra messages the and/or lowering the threshod. You may
also add some custom rule but I think that is overkill, I am running
spamassassin and I had not problem with vanila viagra subjects. (anyway
you can see the packaged drugs rules at
(/usr/share/spamassassin/20_drugs.cf)

However I also receive mails with have the drugs stuff embedded in an
attached image. We don't do image recognition so this type is more hard
to catch.

About the rbl stuff... You can see the dnsbl rules
at /usr/share/spamassassin/20_dnsbl_tests.cf. However is better to left
untouched te files unders /usr/share/spamassassin and put your additions
in the /etc/spamassassin directory.
Your custom options must be in a .cf file (the .cf files are read in
lexical order, see the 'Configuration Files' section in
http://linux.die.net/man/1/spamassassin ).

Cheers,
  Javier

Using 0.10 release, you are enable to allow Web administration service
at Firewall->Packet filter (Filtering rules from external networks to
eBox) using 'eBox administration' service. I think that it's what you
need.

It's a very requested feature. We have this in mind and it can be in a
ticket form to be tracked if you want ;). [1]
