Hello,
   the strategy of copyng the subs to another directory will succeed IF
the stubs haven't changed. 
  Otherwise you may have files with different settings or different
stub's  parameters.
 I suggest you the following: 
  - take a look to the change times of your files and copy them to
another folder (in doubt, copy all).
  - upgrade ebox 
  - use the diff tool to compare easily the new stubs with your modified
stubs. This tool we will tell you the exact changes that exist between
files; to use it you can type in the console diff [ebox's stub] [old
stub].
  - if there are changes, modify the new stub file to accommodate them
or discard them if the aren't worth
