Are the jabber servers running? If so, then the problem may rise from
the name resolution. Your jabber clients require to know the IP from the
jabber server name, that is, the domain name resolution. Two options are
available to fix this:

1. Hardcode the jabber name on the '/etc/hosts' of every client as
following:

<jabber-server-name> <eBox-ip-address>

2. Set up the eBox or other DNS server to resolve the jabber server name
into an IP address, setting first the domain name and then the jabber
server name.

For example:

If the jabber server is called: jabber.example.com. You may set a domain
call 'example.com' and then a host with name 'jabber' and IP address the
one from the jabber servers are listening. Finally, save changes.

Best regards,
