hi, so far i have used apt-get to update my ebox in the same way.
as for the second HD, the answer is that you will have to install it: if you want to use it in a RAID: creating two HD mirrors see here http://www.debian-administration.org/articles/238 alternatively you might want to have a look at LVM options. see here http://www.debian-administration.org/articles/410 but most importantly, make sure that you backup your data before doing anything on your HDs. regards, ----- Original Message ---- From: Luc van Stappershoef <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, 14 November, 2007 3:25:17 PM Subject: [Ebox-user] How to up date to 1.0 and add a harddisk. Dear users, I am running ebox 0.9-7076 and want to upgrade to 1.0. is it just: aptget -update aptget -upgrade to establish that ? or is there more to it ? Secondly: If I ad another harddisk to the server and i restart will this automatically add extra storage space in ebox file server, or because it is a diffrent disk will not be added at all ? Thanks for your replies Luc _______________________________________________ Ebox-user mailing list [email protected] https://lists.warp.es/mailman/listinfo/ebox-user ___________________________________________________________ Yahoo!
