Hello,
I don't see clearly which is yout scenario but I am think you have a
openvpn server in your Windows 2000 and you try to conifgure a eBox's
client to connect to it. Correct me if I am wrong.

the ebox openvpn client is intended to connect to other eBoxes running
the eBox's openvpn server. So if you try to use it to connect to another
openvpn server is very likely that the configuration isn't the right
one.

Is possible to switch roles and make the Windows 2000 server connect to
a eBox's openvpn server?

Cheers,
  Javier
