Great suggestion ramon. I didn't configure MX records. And the symptom my eBox has is matching with your analisys. But. But when I tried building a mail server with Ubuntu desktop+postfix, everythin was ok, even without registering MX records. Anyway, now I did as you suggest, but it seems my eBox.mydomain.com is not resolved. I think this is because something is missing in my eBox server. I can ping eBox.mydomain.com from eBox machine itself, but not from other machines within the LAN nor from machines in the LAN created by eBox on a secondary LAN interface. And, other problem, I think that eBox.mydomain.com can not be resolved from the internet because eBox server is behind a router/firewall. Even if port 25 points to eBox server, I think this is not enough. I have probably to configure something more in the router/firewall ...
As you understud, I'm not very skilled on DNS systems ...
For the moment, thanks for pointing me in the right (I hope) direction.

hi!

 have you configured the mx records for your domain?
if your box is ebox.domain.com you need two records.

@        IN    MX     10 ebox.domain.com.
;
ebox    IN    A    your.ip.address

Hi everyboby. Using eBox is funny, but sometimes frustrating me ...
I have the following problem:
I can send e-mail from internal network (with defined user in virtual domains) directly to the internet to other address. But other people from the internet can't reach my eBox server with email. In other words, eBox users in internal virtual domain o eBox can send email to each others and to people outside the virtual domain, but if (i.e.) [EMAIL PROTECTED] send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED], the mail never arrive to the user. The domain eBoxdomain is registered in DNS system and points to my external hardware router/firewall, and ports 25 and 110 are redirected to the machine running eBox in my internal network.
eBox firewall is set up to accept ANY connection from external networks.
So, I can't understand where is the problem ...
Any idea?
Many thanX!
