Ok, I think I now what's happening to you, because I have that problem
too...
On this server, only got one interface, configured initially as dhcp
client, everything working fine. One day, had to change it to static,
done it, everything is working fine. Now, have to put it dhcp client
again, I can get ip from dhcp server, but no gateway/exit route! I've
done all this setup through the eBox interface to avoid bypassing the
eBox interface t apply new configurations. Now, the only way for me to
exit my subnet in this server is:

a) run manually dhclient eth0
b) set the interface as static

I assume this has got to do with some cached dhcp client stuff, no?

PS: if I change the address on the dhcp server for this mac, the machine
get's the new IP, but allways with no gateway...
