I am currently running Ebox 0.11.101 (Ubuntu Hardy) and my server is set up with the http proxy to filter on port 3128. Now, I also installed sarg for reporting (which is working perfectly) but for some odd reason every morning when I check the Sarg reports I see that the last report run at 00:00. That is fine, but then it does not create reports for the day. After further investigation I saw that the squid and dansguardian access.log files (the new ones after the daily rotate) are not logging anything and after a /etc/init.d/squid restart the squid logs starts logging again. The dansguardian logs does not start until I actually log into ebox and restart the HTTP Proxy module. I have tried to add a cron job to restart squid, which works fine for the squid access.log file but, as above, the dansguardian does not start logging until restarting the ebox http proxy module. My question is how can I set up a cron job to restart the ebox http proxy module daily after say 6AM or so.? Or, why does the log files stop logging? Please help. Thanks, Johan
