I run an Ebox server that has got a number of windows Xp clients. They use "offline folders" to keep My Documents on server for backup purposes. This seems to work very well.
Now I have a couple of linux clients coming up - using Kubuntu 8.04.1 w KDE 3.5.10. These can connect nicely and see their "homedirs" using smb4K. BUT once we involve subdirs under their server dirs I get problems. They are denied creating these or they have to go "one step at the time", making copying of files and folders problematic. has anyone seen this and can I do something to sort it, any logs I can look in etc?
