In trying to understand how ebox is working, I figured this should work:

r...@adam:/etc/ldap/slapd.d/cn=config# ldapsearch -x -D cn=admin,dc=ebox -b
"cn=config" -W
Enter LDAP Password:
# extended LDIF
#
# LDAPv3
# base <cn=config> with scope subtree
# filter: (objectclass=*)
# requesting: ALL
#

# search result
search: 2
result: 32 No such object

# numResponses: 1

Why am I not getting any results back? I can see the tree in
/etc/ldap/slapd.d/cn=config and my slapd proces is running as:

r...@adam:/etc/ldap/slapd.d/cn=config# ps aux|grep slapd
openldap 5101 0.0 0.3 321408 7944 ? Ssl Mar05 0:42
/usr/sbin/slapd -h
ldap://0.0.0.0ldapi://%2fvar%2frun%2fslapd%2fldapi/????x-mod=0777 -g
openldap -u openldap
-F /etc/ldap/slapd.d/

Why is my ldapsearch not returning any results?
