Can't you create a new domain and make a trust relationship between both!?
kind of a cheap and dirty solution, but if it works... Or, you could make
the 2003 the PDC and eBox the BDC, but that way, you would be going back in
time and be windows dependant again...

PS: On the last e-mail at the end, in "DHCP" I mean NetBIOS.
