Heyaz. A lot of users have asked me for a standalone
VNC Server that simply works with echoServer connections. It's
now available here:ftp://ftp.echogent.com/EchoVNC/echoWinVNC.exe The idea is simple (I mean, *really* simple): download that file and start it up. It will prompt you for an echoServer to connect with. Fill in the details (or use the demo server settings by default) and ... you're done! Now anyone with access to the same echoServer can remote your PC. For those of you running echoServers, the intent is pretty clear: simply email echoWinVNC.exe to your support clients and have them use it to connect to your echoServer. Or post it on your website, and have users download it. To "customize" echoWinVNC.exe so that it starts up with *your* echoServer details, simply hold down the SHIFT key while you start echoWinVNC.exe. Then you can "save" the default settings. Hope you all find it useful! -Scott ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ Echovnc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/echovnc-users
