Thanks for your quick response.

For your first question: whenever i install tight VNC in any of the systems
i will install both viewer and server, so i am pretty sure that the host
computer and my computer both have TightVNC server and viewer.

Attached is the proxyloggen.log of host computer. please check.

TightVNC Viewer, or for some systems running the TightVNC Server?

the VNC Server side of the connection?

me "Protocol version negotiated" and ends up with "Connection closed"
dialog box.

But this is happening only for some of the systems, not for all. The host
which i want to connect is Window XP.

Is it a authentication error ? Is there anything that i need to set at
host side ?
