        Hello! Yes, it should work fine with FC4. And you can un-tar/zip
the files to any directory you want, doesn't matter.
        To unzip the archive, try this:

% gzip -dc echoserver-1.42c.tgz | tar -xf -

        That should do it! Please see the .conf file for the remainder of
the setup instructions...
