Hello! Today we (finally) released the 1.50 update for EchoServer
for Linux. You can get the latest binary here:

ftp://ftp.echogent.com/EchoServer/linux/bin

Any registration codes purchased for earlier releases will of course
continue to work with this one.

In this release, we added NPTL support for better performance and
stability for echoServers with a large number of users (50 to 100). This
"Native POSIX Threading Library" (NPTL) is pretty standard with 2.4 and
2.6 kernels. To find out if your system uses NPTL, use the getconf
command, like this:

# getconf GNU_LIBPTHREAD_VERSION
NPTL 2.3.6

Older, non-NPTL systems would return something like this:

# getconf GNU_LIBPTHREAD_VERSION
linuxthreads-0.10

Those older systems will not work with this release of echoServer.

We also added support for the "getList" commands, so that client
software (like the EchoVNC Viewer) can obtain a list of other clients
logged
into the echoServer that are available to connect with.

Any questions or concerns, please let me know!

-Scott
