Good evening, and happy Thanksgiving for those of you in the USA. I've just recently become interested in EchoVNC and EchoServer. The possibilities for a generic packet-relay server like EchoServer are limitless!
I'm a Java developer, primarily, and I am working on a project that I hope to release back to the community -- a wrapper that allows you to use the functions in the native EchoServer library from Java. Why? Because no one should be forced to program in C++. :) The wrapper uses the Java Native Interface to call functions in the Windows DLL (no Linux wrapper yet). Progress is OK... I'm running into a big problem calling the library functions that require strings, so if anyone here knows Java and JNI, perhaps they could offer some advice. :) I'm planning on just lurking here for a while... -- Steve Sobol, Victorville, CA PGP:0xE3AE35ED www.SteveSobol.com Geek-for-hire.
