Jimmy:

        Hello! I think the latest version (2.32) of EchoVNC does try to put
the two connection lists (i.e., the list of users available to you in  
your
connection group) in their own "tab" in the GUI. If the two groups on
the two different echoServers are the same name...it may end up
combining them.
        As for the 1.40a installations, it should work fine to overwrite the
files, but deinstalling first is safest. :)
