The 3rd pre-release of EchoServer for Linux is now available:ftp://ftp.echogent.com/EchoServer/linux/beta/echoserver-1.63pre03.tgz The primary focus of this release is improved stability with very large connection count. Please note (I should add this to the README...), the limiting feature of your Linux PC (in terms of how many echoWare clients it will accept) is the maximum number of open files. So see that limit: % ulimit -a To change that limit, try this command as root, prior to starting up your echoServer: # ulimit -n 4096 In Windows, the maximum number of "file handles" is a function of available RAM.
