Steps to re-produce the problem...
Installed new vncviewer.exe v2.35
Clicked Options... button, setup my Viewer Options, EchoServer, then picked
"Autofill statup options from this file:" then clicked "..." button and saved
default.vnc in the EchoVNC working directory.
The next time I launch vncviewer.exe I immediately get "failed to connect to
server" and can see the connection box in the upper right corner with a very
long number in the port field.
Seems like it's trying to connect to a client on startup, I expect to see the
window with a list of active clients I can pick from. (always worked fine,
works if I go back to a previous version)
Looking at the default.vnc file with notepad reveals...
hostport=-1host=
...removed these lines and launched vncviewer.exe, it comes up as I expect
(without trying to connect) but then it never connects to my EchoServer, just
stuck at Authorizing
Not sure if this is related/by design, but it seems the EchoServer password is
encrypted? in this version when it's saved to default.vnc - because in previous
version I could see my password in plain-text, now it's displayed as something
else.
Help!
