Dear All, I have set up EchoVNC to talk to a computer at a remote site. The remote computer is to be used to run a test programme and download monitoring data, over GSM. I noticed that each time it was restarted, a '-1' was added to its name on the EchoServer tab (viewed using the client on my local PC). This wasn't a problem, but now I cannot connect to it anymore - 'Sorry, the remote partner hp6715swilson-1-1... could not be found'.
Either the error is related to the profileration of -1s, or something has happened to the remote PC. Can anyone help? Are there any diagnostics available from the echoserver? Can the laptop be forced back to 'hp6715swilson?' FYI I cannot ping the remote computer, since it is on a GSM network and pinging is not allowed.
