Eeek, 4 monitors though. :) Whenever EchoVNC gives a VNC-ish problem, my suggestion is always to combine EchoVNC with a more modern VNC Viewer and Server combination. That is, EchoVNC consists of two pieces: one to make the connection, the second to handle the VNC session that's created. That second part can be "handed off" easily to another VNC program; it's an option in both the EchoVNC Viewer and EchoVNC Server.
With this workaround, you get all the benefits of making easy connections with EchoVNC, and all of the benefits of state-of-the-art VNC support with other platforms (e.g., RealVNC, TightVNC, or UltraVNC). cheers, Scott On Aug 28, 2009, at 4:42 PM, Michael Wheatley wrote: > I have the current versions of EchoVNC and Echo Server installed. > When I attempt to connect to a Windows/XP system with 4 monitors, > the EchoVNC server terminates and the EchoVNC viewer hangs > connecting to the remote system. > > Is there a fix or work around for this? > > Michael Wheatley ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
