There was mention on the back in April about an echovnc "server" for Linux, and one of the Devs mentioned that he was working on an instantvnc for linux that would work with an existing vnc server implementation (e.g. x11vnc or tightvnc, etc). Any more news on that? I'm in a position where I would like to be able connect to a Linux machine running a vncserver instance, and the echoware server really solves quite a few problems for me....
