Andrea, first look at the file /etc/ppp/resolv.conf, if it contains something like that : nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
where xxx must be filled by an IP address. So in that case, you can copy this file to /etc/resolv.conf ... ( cp /etc/ppp/resolv.conf /etc/resolv.conf ) else ... edit the file /etc/resolv.conf to type this two lines : nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx where xxx must be filled by IP address of Domain Name Server ( DNS ) of your provider ! but if you can't make the connexion at all ... configuring resolv.conf will be useless ! ( i hope you understand english, because i don't speak italian :) ) bye bye mRyOuNg =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Liste de diffusion "Driver Linux pour modem ECI ADSL USB" Driver Linux pour modem ECI ADSL USB: http://flashcode.free.fr/linux Pour se dsinscrire : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe
