Hi FlashCode (and all the others),

thanx for your help.
I tried all that synch-files and indead there were 2 that fit. Now I got
though the whole setup-Mmdem process but still can't get any connection.
I think the reason is, that my internet provider is using PPTP(RFC 2637)
instead of PPPOE. Is there now any possibility to use eciadsl with
PPTP??

Exm.:
******************
I read in several docus, that there has to be a PPTP-client and it must
be installed manually. I made this. Now I tried to connect with

pptp hostname (or IP)

where hostip = 10.0.0.138

.. doing this I got only errors. Of course i had to get them, because
there's no modem at a network-adaptor which can be called by a ref to
10.0.0.138. ==> This I think would be the base to get PPTP to work.
So do you know about a way to get PPTP to work with eciadsl??!
******************

Thanx in advise,
Regards Ren

Hi Ren,

Before making your own .bin file, you can try all the .bin of synch_bin
archive :
http://eciadsl.flashtux.org/eciadsl_synch_bin.tar.gz
Unpack this into /etc/eciadsl and run eciconftxt.sh to change your .bin
Between each attempt, unplug/replug your modem.
Keep us informed of the result. If no .bin works, you can come on IRC,
we'll help you.

Read you soon,

Cordialement / Best regards
Sebastien.
