Hi,

Sorry about that... I'm using SuSE 7.3 Professional, with Kernel 2.4.10. I've just read a document on the ECIADSL site (I should've read this first ;-) that says using usb-uhci with this kernel causes a kernel panic. I'm pretty sure this is what I'm using but as you can tell I'm not a Linux guru...
How do I change from usb-uhci? And to educate me a bit more, could you tell me what usb-uhci, uhci and the other one's actualy are?
I won't bother posting my log messages as this is pretty obviously the problem...
Thank you. Nick

Using a Fujitsu FDX310 USB modem with the ECI ADSL software, it all seems to
configure fine but when I run it, my kernel panics. The process gets as far as:

ECI load 2: success
syncronisation successful

connecting modem (4/5)..

The kernel then panics.
