hi,
as you can guess from thi subject I write to ask you some hint about
the drivers; first of all many thanks for writing this software that enables
us poor usb-modem owners to connect with our favourite o.s. ... I'm using
fedora core 1 and eciadsl 0.9 with a us robotics 8500, startmodem succeeds
in connecting me to my provider (but I have to run it twice every time...I
say it, maybe it can help) but 8 times out of 9 the connection don't work,
ping/borwser/nothing... I've came across this topic many times reading the
forums on the subject and I see this is a known issue ... can you help me?
I was so happy last night and this afternoon, the only two times everything
worked without any problem...
my provider is Tiscali (in Italy) and I tried all the diagnostics, ifconfig,
route -n, etc etc ... all give good response but still can't make the connection
work
