As Kevin says, we need those bios added, so please update the page. I'm not
sure how good the wiki is at handling concurrent edits...

I took a guess at what the format should look like and added mine this
morning. If somebody comes up with something nicer looking, feel free to
bash mine too.

Subject: [eclipse-incubator-e4-dev] e4 proposal - making it "official"

Hi all,

As you know, a draft of the e4 project proposal is up on the wiki at
http://wiki.eclipse.org/E4/Project_Proposal. We will need to transition it
from a 'public-edit' mode to a 'frozen' mode to have an official project
review. In speaking with the EMO, we can have Sept. 3 for the official
project review. Just a reminder to add your section to the proposal if
there is specific work you'd like to do on the project (see section
"Additional Details of Work Areas").

1) I'd like to propose that we close the "public-edit" phase by Sunday
August 10th. This will have given us almost 3 weeks in edit mode and 3+
weeks in review mode. At this time, email notices of the intended project
creation will be sent out via the general mailing lists.

2) We will need committer bios [1] as part of the proposal, and we have a
big committer list. Please edit the proposal wiki and add your bio, either
in place or linked.

[1] The Creation Review must include a short bio of the proposed initial
committers. Not a life story, but their relationship to and history with
the incoming code and/or their involvement with the area/technologies
covered by the proposal. The goal is to help keep any legacy contributors
connected to new project and explain that connection to the current and
future Eclipse membership, as well as justify the initial Committers'
participation in a meritocracy.

Thanking you,
Kevin McGuire_______________________________________________
