I'd say e4, definitely. E4 is a British television channel. In p2 we take
great pains to avoid starting sentences with p2 to avoid the
capitalization problem ("some cool stuff will be done in e4", "The e4
project does some cool stuff", etc). Our main problem area was the wiki,
which insists on capitalizing the first letter on each page. We got around
this by calling each page "Equinox p2 <blort>", but this got to be too
wordy so we eventually gave up. Luckily the wiki is smart enough to do the
capitalization on the fly so you can still use tags like [[e4]] and [[p2]]
and the wiki will know what to link to.

Re: [eclipse-incubator-e4-dev] How do we spell our project?
Kevin,
Let's say it's e4 unless it's at the start of a sentence. As an analogy,
itemis' name, like their logo, should generally be in lower case:
http://www.itemis.com/
But at the start of a sentence (or when title case applies), it's upper
case. E.g.,
Itemis develops efficient software solutions...
Why poll when you can ask for opinions on the committer mailing list. :-P

A minor thing, but I can't figure out if we call ourselves "e4" or "E4".
I've seen both. I like the lower case, it just looks more, well, hip. But
then you can't start a sentence with "e4 will do some cool stuff".
Should we open a poll? :)
Kevin
