I have now installed Eclipse 3.2 including EclipseME 1.5.4 and WTK 2.2 on 5 machines. Compilation of Java ME projects is happening fine on all of them -- the class files in the bin directory are up to date However, whilst validation is happening correctly on the two Windows machines and indeed the projects can be emulated successfully, validation is not happening at all on the three Ubuntu machines. Actually that is not quite correct, the resources are being copied from the source to the validated directory during the validation activity but no class files are appearing in that directory. This means no emulation which means broken.
Is there a problem with the validator on Ubuntu machines? Is there some extra installation thing I need to check for on Ubuntu and/or other Linux platforms? Thanks. -- Russel. ==================================================== Dr Russel Winder +44 20 7585 2200 41 Buckmaster Road +44 7770 465 077 London SW11 1EN, UK [EMAIL PROTECTED]
