Does anyone think it would be possible to manually upgrade wtk2.2 linux
with jars from wtk2.5 for windows?
based on my JSR implementation experience, it might work or might NOT work. It really depends on how MSA is implemented. Usually, there are whole bunch of C code under the hood of JSR's jar library, which might OS dependent. If MSA is the case like that, no hope u could just pull Jar files over from Windows to Linux and work straight away. MSA is a complicated feature, i guess SUN not implement that all in JAVA side but the VM core as well, therefore C code must got involved.

is it possible to use some or all of the extra API since they depend on
the same JSR numbers?
