I am a new user, and I'm having a strange problem. I cannot find
anything (very much) like it mentioned in the archives.

I am installing EclipseME in Eclipse 3.1.2 on Ubuntu Linux 6.0.6
(Eclipse installed from the default package) with the Sun WTK2.2
(downloaded and installed as me). Everything goes well until I import
the device definitions. It locates the correct four devices and I
clicked on "OK".

Later, going back into J2ME->Device Manager, the devices list has the
following error:

  An error (gnu.xml.dom.ls.DomLSException: duplicate attribute (found
"version")) occurred reading the device registry.
Please consult the error log for more information.

In fact, in .metadata/.plugins/eclipseme.core/devices.xml, all of the
attributes on all of the tags are duplicated:

  <deviceRegistry version='1.5.5' version='1.5.5'>
   <deviceCount value='1' value='1'/>
  ...

Does anyone have any useful suggestions? I have not used this version
of Eclipse before, so I don't know what the deal is with the
gnu.xml.dom... business, either.

Thanks!

Tommy McGuire
