Craig is right, you could CDC/PP as normal JRE e.g. 1.5.
However, when u adding CDC/PP via Project->Preferences->Java-> Installed JREs, 
if you are using Sun CDC, it might be fine. If you are using other vendors, it 
might not be allowing u to add because certain files do NOT exist, you might 
have to do some cheats by copying some of the SUN's standard JRE files (I have 
NOT have time debug Eclipse what conditions need to be satisfied). Craig might 
be able to help.
 
If u r using IBM, there is a plugin for J9.

There is still no support for CDC.  It is unlikely that EclipseME will 
take this on, as the Eclipse MTJ project has some of this already.
